As a small child, I used to roam freely around the Kansas countryside;  making friends with small wildlife and discovering the beauty of nature.  To this day, I'm still inspired by the natural beauty around me.  I bring my inspirations into the silver and wood jewelry that I create by studying basic shapes and patterns nature creates.

I first began taking jewelry classes in high school in Ellsworth, Kansas.  Falling in love with the craft, I continued my education at Kansas University and studied with Jon Havener, Lin Stanionis and Gina Westergard.  Just upon graduating, I discovered the beauty of wood and have taught myself how to create hair combs and jewelry from this wonderful material.  Today I live in Lawrence, Kansas creating jewelry out of my studio at home.
